After all of this time, I finally got my character to stop running through walls. The issue wasn't the coding itself, but where I put it. I don't know exactly what it's called, but I put the coding within the character, I think. Anyway, this calls for a celebration! When I get home, I'm making chocolate chip pancakes!

Those pancakes look really good! Yes, placement of code is very important. You have to watch where you put it especially when you work with anything to do with "hit test" type coding and that's kind of what wall codes are. They are like collision tests. You can even go back to the mini game and read a little bit about the hit test coding.
