Played Dwarf Fortress recently. You literally cannot win this game, no matter how hard you try, you will fail eventually. It may be a few minutes, it may be a few hours, but eventually, YOU WILL LOSE. But it is so fun and challenging, I can't stop playing. By the way, go onto the wiki,
http://df.magmawiki.com/, and search "fun". Anyway, it is essentially a stratgey game where you control your own little community of dwarves. You have to account for a wide variety of things to ensure your society survives, such as food, shelter, medication, happiness, and defending your fort from a dragon attack. It is done in TUI or Text User Interface where basically everything is represented by a different text symbol, rather than an actual image (for example dragons are represented by a big green D). Dwarf fortress gives me an idea for our own strategy, sort of like a construcion & management game where the player runs a town, store, prison, amusement park, etc. They will have to manage resources and the happiness of the population of said facilities, though we certainly won't be using TUI.
